Extreme Networks - EIAO-300/2
Course Description
The ExtremeXOS: Implementing Advanced OSPF Networks (EIAO) course is designed to provide students with the ability to implement and configure the advanced OSPF features of Extreme Networks switches.
Intended Audience
This course is designed for those individuals who require an in-depth understanding of the OSPF protocol and how it is implemented on Extreme Networks switches. This course provides the necessary skills and information required by those individuals responsible for the installation, configuration, management, maintenance, and support of the Extreme Networks switches in an OSPF environment.
This course is a prerequisite for ENS Level certification.
Course Prerequisites
A student must have the following skills or knowledge prior to attending this course: · Extreme Networks ENA Level certification or equivalent skills and experience · Knowledge of LAN fundamentals · Layer 3 routing and OSPF protocol theories · Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and static and dynamic routing
Attending the ExtremeXOS: Operation and Configuration is strongly recommended.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the students will be able to: · Perform basic and advanced OSPF routing and configuration · Add areas using virtual links · Identify steps to integrate RIP and OSPF in the same routed environment · Configure route summarization and Equal Cost MultiPath (ECMP) · Troubleshoot an OSPF network
